Connections fail with error similar to 'Too many simultaneous connections'

If you have a lot of devices or clients connecting to the same email account, the mail servers may only allow certain limit of connections at a given point in time.

To speed up downloads, Mail Attachment Downloader establishes multiple connections when a download is started. If you see this error often, we recommend that you do one of the following:
  • Reduce the number of multiple connections in the Options tab, enter a number that you are comfortable with in the 'Use multiple connections'  text box. Leave the checkbox checked.
OR 
  • Turn off multiple connections use by going to the Options tab and unchecking the 'Use multiple connections' checkbox.
