Shrink/fit all documents to the same page format
When merging different email attachments in different page formats, the merged pdf file contains different page formats. This looks chaotic and is difficult to handle automatically.
It should be possible to shrink/fit all email attachments to A4 format when converting them to pdf file format.

Operation from the command line
'Run a saved profile from command line'
The two key benefits I can see from being able to trigger MAD running from command line are:
Run once / run on a special schedule. Some actions are not suited to running every 'n' minutes, e.g. "run at 4pm to enforce new order cut-off" or "run every Thursday morning".
Automated testing. The ability to run on demand could be used to test new or existing profiles to ensure, in a more structured way, that changes elsewhere in a system do not impact MAD's operation.

Parse attachments in attached emails
When you attach an email with attachments these attachments do not get processed. It would be nice to have these attachments processed as well.

Schedule downloads by daytime
Schedule Downloads like dayly between 10:00 and 11:00. so we dont have to poll the whole day when just awaiting mails in the morning

Settings and Logs should not be under individual user accounts
Settings and logs should be located for multiple users to access.
I have GearMage Mail Attachment Downloader Pro Server 3.2 - build 3.2.1021.0
The settings and logs are placed under my own user account as follows ---
Settings Folder: C:\Users\my.name\AppData\Roaming\MAD
Logs Folder: C:\Users\my.name\AppData\Local\Temp\MailAttachmentDownloaderThis is not good because other team members may need to provide support and make changes.
How to I configure the Settings and Logs folders to be publicly accessible so anyone who runs GearMage will find the same accounts?7 votes -

Enhancement to post-download splitting functionality - split on text. Many suppliers will email a week or months worth of invoices in a single pdf. They are not always the same number of pages, but typically there will be some specific text like "page 1" or "Payment Due Date" that will only exist on either the first or last page.
My request is the ability to set up the search strings (per sender) which can be used to split attachments when that string is detected on a page.4 votes -

Read files from disk or from FTP server
I saw GearMage can read a link from e-mail and download from HTTP.
In our setup, we have 2 main files entry point:
a) Via IMAP e-mail (that's ok, GearMage already support that)
b) via FTPWould be nice if I can read files from disk or from FTP server and apply some rules same way I can do for e-mail attachments (for example, unzip, upload to database, etc).

I love your product, I am a free user 50+ and now that Google are forcing all e-mail platforms onto Outlook like Thunderbird that no longer works thanks to the maggots at Google. Your product is an easy understandable option although you may wish to include a tutorial about renaming emails with attachments for us old Prick's.

Ability to generate/send the cumulative results in an email after running.
Would like the ability to generate/send the cumulative results in an email after running. The program tracks the totals/downloads, but there is no built-in way to include those results or send an email upon completion.
ie.. to say it ran at x time, downloaded y files total for z bytes, with or without errors.3 votes -

Add a check box to UNcheck all folders
First, let me say that this is a VERY GOOD product. It is simple and it works. Thank you.
Idea for improvement -
At times, I have checked a dozen or so folders to download. Later, I may only want to download ONE.
As it stands, I must UNcheck all those checked and then check the one I want.

Ability to Process Spreadsheets by Partial Worksheet Name
I receive workbooks that contain various worksheets that need to be processed differently. The client is adding the date to the worksheet names. I'd like to be able to import worksheets based on a partial name. Currently, when choosing a worksheet, the name needs to be an exact match.
